Hard Re-Set Woes - Treo Forum

From time to time, I've had to do a hard re-set. This time it was to correct some problem that was preventing my phone from ringing.

That aside, as folks know, recovering from a hard reset is a chore...

I've had to re-install a number of add on programs, reset my speed dials, reset my Today screen, etc, etc.

Anyone have any ideas or a utility that can capture and store my "treo profile" and reinstall it after a hard reset?

Sprite Backup should do what you want

NVbackup could also. What I did is made a fresh copy of my phone. Then I started with a new cycle. Everytime I added a new program, I would start a new cycle and leave the last one on my SD card. That way if the new program gave me any hassles, I would just restore my latest backup. Also, if your backups get very big, you can just place them on your CPU and save them for the future. Here is the link if you wish to use it. Oh yeah, its free!

Dang TazUk! I was so eager to help, I didn't notice the 700w for the phone. I apologize for my lack of attention to detail. But, if anyone does have a Palm, there is your link!

Sprite Backup is simply awesome. Ive tried many backups apps before but none is as good as Sprite.
