 | Treo 700wx Found new device Hello everyone Im new to the fourm, I just Purchased a Treo 700wx on ebay it came with no cd and I pluged in the usb cable and I get " found new device" can someone tell me where I can get a driver for my treo 700wx ? I have windows XP and have already downloaded activesync 4.5. P.S I looked on Palm's web site and did not find anything. can someone help. Please, thanks Sal C. |

    | Once you install Activesync it should find the Treo when you plug it in. Do you have Microsoft Office Outlook? |

| youer device should have come with an install disk with a copy of outlook albeit 2002. But its still workable. Thats where you need to look. If you dont have an install disk you need to get one or get a copy of outlook 2003 maybe on ebay. Just an outlook program should run round 30.00 plus shipping. And by the way welcome salc to treonauts. |

| Ok, then once you install ActiveSync and plug in the Treo, it should detect it and prompt you for initial set up. Welcome to Treonauts by the way! |

| if you're still having problems... 1. Soft Reset your device, (remove batter and replace). 2. Go to -> Programs-->USB Switch (make sure you are connected with Serial USB) 3. Connect your Treo, (you should hear a connection sound). Good Luck |
