Best software for reading pdf e-books

OK, so I have a couple of ebook pdfs I want to read. The problem is, depending on the width of the page text and font this can be a pain in the ass to not that bad. Usually its a pain in the ass. The default wm5 pdf reader makes you have to switch between the turn page function and zoom/pan. So in order to read a page of text, unless you can read the font at zoom-to-width, requires hundreds of clicks of your directional buttons. If this stuff was in word format we'd automatically get a word wrap but this is not the case. Anyone have any ideas of a better way to read pdf ebooks?
