![]() ![]() | There's very few viruses in the wild for our devices. Some 'test viruses' have been created by virus companies to 'illustrate' to end-users and the market as whole that it's possible to create viruses for both the WM and PalmOS platforms. There are virus solutions available from both Symantec and McAfee but both those companies sadly now have a reputation for bloated software which for the most part spends most it's time eating ram and slowing your system down. No-one seems to have a free solution - does anyone else know of one? It's worth keeping an eye on AVG Anti-Virus and Internet Security - Welcome as their AVG consistently wins awards and (from my perspecitive at least) consumes the least system resources in the desktop environment and hopefully this mentality will extend to any mobile solutions they develop/acquire. ~ Steph

![]() ![]() | Understood. Always nice to have back up. Another way for someone to implement it would be to scan the Treo synch backup. That way your wouldn't have an AV app soaking up memory and battery power on your Treo, if you did get a virus you'd just hard reset and re-synch. ~ Steph
