REALLY stop programs? - Treo Forum

I lost some of my data during a swap to a new phone. One of the programs I really liked was one that actually ended a program when you tapped the X in the upper corner, not just put it in the background. Nice savings in the memory department that way...but of course I can't remember the name of it! Any suggestions?

Battery Pack Pro does this, amongst other things

SPB Pocket Plus also does it.

Thanks for those links..the program I had was real small, didn't do anything but make sure the programs were shut down. I remember that it turned the X in the corner into and X with a circle around it maybe? Time for me to start a Googlin again, once I get some hot rum cider in me.

Try looking for a program called Magic Button.

You hold down your stylus on the X, and you get a nice taskbar style switcher. The X is also converted into a real 'Close' button.

You have good taste I have that on my Treo an it works great I have no complaints.

Ah, that's the one! Magic button I think is it.

...bah, I d/l it but keep getting "CAB installation unsuccesful"..if it's not one thing it's another........
