This weekend further details and the first pictures of a next generation PalmOS Treo 800p have emerged. Its always hard to tell from blurry spy shots (above) what the relative proportions of the device might be but a side-by-side comparison...

It sure doesn't look great from those pictures

Sadly I don't think this is a fake as we have seen several photos/pictures of this device. Hopefully it will look much better in the flesh than the photo's, much like the HTC Excalibur (T-Mobile Dash)

I also think this is more likely the rumoured Treo 690 and not the 800.
