![]() | SD card problem on 750v Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum so Hi everybody. I have a problem with my mini SD card reader. The smartphone at one point did not regognise it. I tried a soft reset and it did not work. I formatted the 2MB SD card and first time round the set recognises it. But upon switching off and on again, the smartphone did not regognise it. My computer does recognise it though. I tried a hard reset on the smartphone and formatted the card. Upon insertion the smartphone recognised it. Then I uploaded some MP3 songs and these played along fine. Until the set was switched off that is. Then the treo once more did not recognise the SD card. Taking out the card and inserting again did get the treo to recognise the card and the memory setting indicated how much was utilised but I still could not get the music to play. Any ideas ? Did anybody encounter a similar problem and managed to solve it? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What type of card are you using? There could be a couple of issues here, such as a card type that doesn't play well with the Treo, or just a bad card all together.

![]() | Thank you both for your assistance Formatting seems to be fine and card, (a kingston 2Gig) works well with my laptop when coupled via USB and a size adapter. After I did a hard reset on the Treo and a format (fat 32) on the card and I filled the card with MP3's it works the first time round. But when I switch off the Treo and then switch on again, the treo either recognises the card but not the contents or does not recognise the mini sd card at all. Upon insertion into the slot there is the "sound" confirming that the card has been inserted and if card is removed there is a different sound. I just cannot figure out what the problem is. Does this inspire any further suggestions? |
