SD Card song Transfer!? - Treo Forum

Hey i have a friend that has a lot of cool songs on his sd card so i took mine out and put his in. Well they play and everything but i want to get them on the phone so i can transfer them to my sd. I am wondering if theres a way to do this without having to use a card reader and transfer to a computer. Please help i feel like an idiot. LOL

The problem I see you running into there is internal memory (aside from the whole copyright thing). Even with low bit rate mp3's you'll still eat up a lot of memory, and it will be tedious going switching cards back and forth. If internal memory is not an issue, or it's just a few songs, Filez is a good freeware program that will let you grab specific files and transfer them as needed.

your only other alternative is to use a card reader to transfer the files to a pc and then copy them back to your sd card. i can tell ya now, moving 700 mb (or any amount, for that matter) of songs will not be easy doing it piecemeal...
