sd card problems w/ treo 650 - Treo Forum

i just got a treo 650 and after discovering that i can't save my mp3 ringtones to it stock, i went out and bought a 512mb sd (i plan on getting a bigger one in the future. this one will work for now). when i go to "card info" it says that ther is no card inserted. i'm positive that it's inserted correctly so that isn't it. i've put files onto the sd from a computer so i know there are files on it. i just don't know how to access them. i've tried a soft reset and it still doesn't recognize the card. any suggestions?

btw, the sd is actually a microSD/ TransFlash Adapter. i have no idea if that makes any sort of difference.

Is the microSD card in the adapter? The adapter itself has no memory.
