yes, but you have to modify your rom, a task that may not be up to par with some folks' capabilities. link found here.

I'm using a 4Gb SDHC card on my Treo 650 and I'm ready for my new 8Gb on his way

The task is not so hard to do. Just take some time and if you do your homework (read before you do it) it won't be any problem.

You can find a lot information regarding Custom ROM for Treo 650

I won't suggest to partition your ROM for the moment because you can break permanently your Treo unless you known how to bring it back and that another game

Has anyone had any luck with using an 8gig hd card with a 700p? I have been using a 4gig without any problems but I have been eyeing the new higher capacity cards. Let's face it who can resist the 8 HDSD cards?

If a 4Gb SDHC card works then an 8Gb SDHC card should work also

while searching for a solution to a problem i came across this post.

The 8GB card is perfectly readable after you mod the ppc to read the sdhc format, however, you cannot sync to the full 8GB but seem to be limited to only 4GB. It may be possible to somehow convert the media through a non sync route, but I dont yet know how to do this except to sync to a smaller card, adn then drop teh converted files onto the 8GB card with an external card reader (not through active sync). With a 1GB card and an 8GB card, this is a bit of pain.

Can we format the card to two partitions of 4GB, or can we convert the files manually?
