Which screen protector do you recommend?

Yes, I do have the thick old Fellowes screen protector on my Centro and it is bad. The touch screen is not responsive at all.

Now for the forum here... which screen protector do you recommend?

Smartphone Experts ?
Seidio's?
invisibleSHIELD?

Check out this previous thread for some recommendations. You can also do a search for "screen protectors" and may find some more. I'll be interested to read the opinions since I'm needing to buy new ones as well.

My fav is the JavoScreen Antiglare. Costs a bit more than others but the quality and fit are worth every penny. The protector is a little thicker than others, washable and amazingly unsmudgable, no fingerprints to wipe off. Excellent clarity and once installed it's undetectible, no gaps where dust or grime can collect, a near perfect fit.

I can't think of the Brand I have, but I got them at Best Buy. They do tend to scratch pretty quickly, but I'm not going to try a new brand until these are gone.

In the process of selling my 650s. It hurts but at least they'll be getting used.

I thought I read somewhere in the manual that the Centro has a built-in screen protector and that you don't need to install a screen protector. I have never used a screen protector on any of my Palms and some Palms I have had as long as 6 years. Just my 2 cents

Eins is right. The Centro has a built in screen protector. The problem though is that it can get scratched (although not as easily). Nevertheless, the risk of adding another screen protector is losing touchscreen sensitivity. That said, some have used them and its worked out okay. If I were to buy another screen protector it would either be the JavoScreen or InvisibleShield. But they are both small investments to later learn that putting them on the Centro takes away your touchscreen. I would ask both manufacturers if they offer a moneyback guarantee if you find that you can't use the touchscreen before purchasing them.

What about the protector that came with my 700wx? I've been meaning to put it on, but haven't gotten around to it.

BTW, I have a Palm IIIxe that's 7 yrs old with no protector. I've played so many games of TextTwist that there are six indelible tap spots on my screen. They're enough of a nuisance that it's hard to see the letters now, and they obstruct the view of other apps too. Wish I'd used protection. I wonder if I could find TextTwist for the Treo ... hmmm.
