i have a pp problem...

no, not that kinda of pp.

Just got a BG Cellsuit case.
I needed something that can protect the screen and keyboard from some work environments while i wait for my big rugged SPECK case to be shipped, since i've got to work in a bad enviroment this weekend... plus i had store credit at best buy to use.

Unfortuntly, this case likes to interject the letter p into my text conversations on a regular basis.

Does anyone else use this case, any suggestions?
I've contemplated cutting out the keyboard cover, but that would defeat the purpose of buying a case to protect it from the dust and occasional splashes that it sees when i'm working.

Wow...that was very helpful.

@madrabbitt: When you open the case and look at the inside of the keyboard cover, do you notice anything on/under where the P button would be? Or is it just tight around the upper right side?

well, i've been trying to slightly move the case a few times, and seeing where that leads me, strangely enough even if i slip the case so its tighter on the other side, it doesnt do the same thing with the Q or A.

I asked someone else with a 650 and the same case, and she said to stick something behind the phone in the case near the keyboard so that it stretches the case out a bit, and the plastic around the keys get more molded to the keys, and that would help it a bit, so we're trying that.

I guess the good thing is, that its not always going to be in this case, that I like my clip on top loading holster much better then this one anyway.

This one is just going to be used when i have to worry about sand or liquids around the phone.

And, theres nothing affecting the inside of the case, its just tight around that part.

Oh, and on the subject of cases... when i was at best buy, they had the oem palm horizontal cases on sale... for 40 bucks.

I was going to comment on "who in their right mind would pay that much for a case" then i was reminded how much the treos retail for in the first place. :-p

Hi, madrabbit.........
If you want to COMPLETELY protect your 700, try this.
I've been using one for 2 years, I work in a cabinet shop, and my 650 still looks brand new as does the Otterbox, despite lots of impacts, flying debris, etc.).
All keys are operable from the outside, they line up perfectly, and the case is waterproof and crushproof to 350 lbs.
Unless I need to do a soft reset, the 650 never leaves the Otterbox.
My avatar has Spock holding my 650 (and a Boston Lager).

BTW......the case is $99.00.......cheap, when you consider the price of your 700, and the protection this case gives.

Well, I dont actually have the treo anymore, i've moved on to a blackberry curve series, but i do have a defender series from otterbox for it, when i'm working EMS or in a situation that the bb might get damaged.
