GPS wall charging - Treo Forum

Hello....
I just got the TOM TOM Palm GPS Navigator smartphone edition 3 for my Treo 650.
It came with the SiRFstarIII Palm GPS unit which has a USB power connector and the car charger.
My question is this can I use any USB wall charger to charge the GPS unit from the wall?

Namely my MOTOROKR S9 Stereo Headset USB charger, which by the way these headphones ROCK!

It seems from my search on the subject the USB power is supposed to be the same universally, but there are some differences it seems.

Don't feel to bad Crud...

I've had issues w/ my 700wx that neither the good folks here, VZW, PALM nor MS can fix! Luckily, if anyone here has seen it, they will address it for you.

If it's a standard USB socket then it will take the normal 5 volts that USB uses so I'd say yes it's safe to use

I charge mine with a USB 110v wall adapter. No problems. (I didn't know there was a difference in USB chargers?)
