Car Charger for Treo and GPS - Treo Forum

I am about to purchase a Treo 700p. I already own a two year old bluetooth GPS unit. The GPS unit came with a car charger cable that connects to both my old Palm Tungsten T3 and the GPS unit to charge them both while in the car. I will need this same type of dual charging cable that will be able to plug into the new Treo. If I can find a dual car charging cable that plugs into the Treo, I can cut off whatever comes on the other end and splice the connector from my old cable onto the new cable. Anyone have any suggestions where I can find a dual car charger cable for a Treo? Thanks.

You could get a device that splits the car power plug into 2(or more). I have one for charging my Treo and my iPod.

In the Treo Store, you might check out this dual charger. Comes with various tips for accessories. You can also go to the Mpower website. They have several options, various tips and bundled "packages".

One of my must-haves!

Fantastic! This is just what I'm looking for. I can cut-off the non-Treo connector and splice the gps connector onto the cable. Excellent. Thanks very much!
