![]() | Hello there! This is my first post here on this wonderfully informative community. My problem is that I am returning to school and want to expand my Treo 700wx's functionality to accommodate me. I am considering buying several things for this reason. First and foremost, a keyboard. I've read up and see that the Palm IR keyboard doesn't hold the Treo very well and has a habit of missing keystrokes. That will not be good for fast paced note taking in class. I'm wondering if the Think Outside Bluetooth keyboard would be any better or if there is another solution that I am unaware of that would secure my Treo and be slim enough for me to carry class to class. Secondly, a WiFi card. Does anyone know if Sprint will protest if I use a WiFi card to get on the internet? I was reading that they blocked something from using the internet... Third, I'm also thinking of getting a cradle and an extra battery. Should I get an extended battery or will all of those make my Treo larger and not fit in cases? And finally, possibly another case to accommodate these extras as well. Any suggestions?Did I miss anything? Is there anything else I should consider picking up for my Treo? Thanks for your help! |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Treo Batteries | Seidio Extended Battery | Treonauts Accessories Store Here is a link for a 2400mAh battery. It has more juice than the 1600mAh that came with your phone and won't make your phone bigger. As for the keyboard, Palm - Support - Palm Universal Wireless Keyboard Support Go here, which you have probably done already, and see what they offer. I read, but can't find, where they updated the driver for the bluetooth issue. I am guessing that is for the 700P. |

![]() | Those were indeed somewhat helpful, but did not answer my question. My quest was about sprint letting people use wifi, as Sprint seems to be anal about things like that. Should I post this question somewhere else? |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Gir, I have a nephew who uses a 6700PPC with Sprint. He purchased the wi-fi card and was charged a bundle for using the wi-fi on his phone. He argued with Sprint and lost. Since i have the 700P, I don't know much about the wi-fi connection. All I know is that my nephew had to pay like $300. There maybe some software out there that will let you work hack your phone somehow so that Sprint doesn't charge you. However, at this time, I don't have a clue if one exists or not. |

![]() | internet access vision? wi fi ? charges? - PDAPhoneHome.com Perhaps I should be sure to disable the 777 number then? I think I'll try it out next month a little and see what happens. |
