Treo 750 hard cases

I have had terrible luck with trying to make the hard cases work for the Treos. The belt-clip assembly quicly looses its ability to remain secure enough to attach to a belt. The metal parts gradually spreads apart and there is no grip to keep the case attached to a belt. And this still occurs despite the fact that Palm reconfigured the belt clip with a black plastic assembly that appears to be designed to fit underneath a belt.

The clip that should keep the case closed is just as unreliable and loosens quickly with time and use and can allow the case to open and the Treo 750 to come out of the case. Real nice if you are able to catch the phone before it hits that ground!!

The case is nice in that fact that it is hard, has not openings to allow dirt and whatever into the case. It's just that Palm can not design the damn case to remain on a user's belt and for the case to keep tightly closed.

Come on Palm! We are not talking rocket science here. I would just like a case that protects this VERY expensive and cool cell phone and oh, yes, I would like it to remain closed until I need it. HELLO!!!!!

I like the hard cases, but I bought the 2400 battery and the case no longer works with the 750. Ideas welcome.

I've sacked the use of the Palm Hard Case, that wull now only be used for when I travel abroad, it least is good protection. However, I just stick to the nice leather case, and the belt clip, its actually quite handy, and it has a qucik clip on and release button. Mine came from Piel Frama.

Plus the leather smell sooo good
