| A Few Questions.... ![]() | Smartphone Experts Treo Screen Protectors I bought the 3pack Smartphone Experts Treo Screen Protectors for my 700w. Exactly how do you remove them with out damaging them? I got mine on a hair off and tried to remove it but it seemed to be in there pretty darn good. Few bubbles too. Not sure I like them yet, might get used to it. Looks, different, maybe a hair cloudy or foggy. Used to looking at a clear screen but I wanted a screen protector on because I felt it was a matter of time before I scratched the heck out of it. These seemed like the best. Especially the fact it said they were reusable. I will use it. However I would like to be able to try and remove them from time to time to clean the. I mean it did say reusable. What happens when you take them off and wash them I wonder? Is it supposed to be sticky on that one side? Will it be even worth using once you take it off? I bought these because they seemed like the best, and were reusable. Now I can't seem to peel it off my screen. Thought I cleaned everything just right but theres a couple of dust bubbles under the screen that are annoying as heck to look at. :-) PS: Has anyone who purchased the 3pack been suprised to find only TWO screen protectors in the package? I have contacted support about the sale here but was wondering if it was just a freak thing that happened to me! Oh well... |

![]() ![]() | I can't stand them. But if you want some advice on applying them the best way is as follows: - Put the shower on and close the door with the fan off. - After it's foggy turn off the shower. - Wash your hands - Thoroughly clean your Treo screen with Windex and a lint free cloth - microfibre alone is not enough. - When the fog clears... - Sit in the room make yourself comfortable and turn ALL the lights on - Carefully peel back the backing - Line it up with the top of your screen and ensure the right hand side is square (this is the side with all the scrollbars so it' more important the film is flush with this side than the left side). - Push the top up to the top and give it a bit of pressure so the film bends slightly down towars the screeen. - Then lower the screen slowly down - Follow up with a cloth to iron it out Notes * The shower is to clear the air of dust * Thorough cleaning is to prevent skin oil on the screen from moiring the image even more under the protector * The bend is to ensure the film decends evenly and without air bubbles * You do it slowly because if you do get a bubble you CAN lift the screen protector up enough to clear the bubble, very important the room stays dust free as the extra timme to clear a bubble will get you dust which creates it's own bubbles once it's stuck * You get becuase you'll mess it up twice before you get it right * After a few days you'll get sick of seeing everything through the glue SPE use Hope this helps... feel free to contribute your tips. ~ Steph

![]() ![]() | They are rubbish, unless you men removing/repositioning during the initial application process. They seem to build a good head of static electricity which obviously sucks out all the dust from the air. ~ Steph

![]() | - Put the shower on and close the door with the fan off. Please tell them to keep the treo away from shower LOL (just kidding)I don't really like the screen protectors. I applied the one I got with the packing but was not following Stephs steps and ended up with bubbles. So I just take it off after couple of minutes. Very hard to take off, i almost damaged my screen while taking it off. Now I am living without them and happy. My advise is NOT to use them. Regards. Harjinder

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think a friend of mine should have bought some as he's managed to drop his one month old 750v and scratched the screen ![]() Personally I don't use them, but then I don't make a habit of dropping my phone either ![]()
