These are the features I like about the Speck SkinTight Case:

holster in which screen is protected
screen is protected by a removable, plastic covering
the plastic covering can be flipped open and closed quickly for access to the screen

These are the drawbacks of the Case:

the SD card slot is not accessible (to get around this I cut into the case creating a flap, yet I have to carefully insert and remove the phone from the holster, requiring two hands, because the flap gets caught in the holster)
the rubber texture causes it to cling to pocket lining, making it difficult to insert and remove the phone from my pocket

Is there a case (or combo of cases) that has the features but not the drawbacks of the Speck SkinTight?

Also, I would like suggestions/criticism for the following idea to get around at least one of the drawbacks, the rubber texture's clinginess. I plan to spray the case with some coating that will make it less clingy.

You can try silicone based shoe polish. It's super cheap and almost guaranteed to stop the stickiness. The kind that comes on a kind of sponge thing and is really light.

Speck Skin Tight Case;
I agree with 1182 on the SD slot. Knowing this in advance, I purchased the tomtom 6 and put it on a 4gig card to alleviate having to keep changing cards. With a card of this magnatude there is surely enough room for TONS of other info....... As for the "stickiness" the shoe polish I've tried and the case will eventually soak it up after a few apps and turn the rubber to mush... Good luck! Bobby

I just bought one of these today and am pleased with it so far. The Belt clip/holder is a bit awkward but that is about it.

Seems to be exactly what I am looking for as far as screen protection. It also has the ability to be belt clipped.

After about a week (at least) of usage, I can report on the ActiveCase:

Note: I have not used the belt clip.
Gripes: the cover protecting the screen is a little difficult to open sometimes. Access to the keys near the edge are impeded (slightly).

That's it, this pretty much is my holy grail of a case. It covers the screen, slides in and out of my pocket easily, full access to the keyboard, all slots available. Boxwave has made a fine product.
