Hang up problem Treo 650/Motorola H300 - Treo Forum

Greetings

I have no problem pairing my 650 with the H300 headset. They works like a charm together.

The problem that I'm having is that the headset hangs up after about 5 minutes when I'm not using the phone and the screen is off. I hear the power off tones from the headset and then nothing. Unless I keep powering the headset back on, it's never ready to receive a call.

I'd really appreciate your advice.

is there some type of auto-off on your headset, a battery saving setting or something like that? the h300 is aaa battery powered i think so there might be an auto-off feature. look in your owner's manual and see if there's something along those lines.

There's nothing indicated in the instructions. Motorola help desk doesn't have any suggestions for defeating the auto off "feature"

Not surprisingly, they indicate that the problem must be with the Treo.
