Plantronics 855 - Treo Forum

I just bought the 855 for my Treo 750 running WM6. It met all my expectations as advertised, but everytime I turn my power button off, and sometimes when I receive email, it turns Windows Media Player on. Anyone else having these problems?

Are you turning off the headset or the device?

i press the power button on my device (the headset is stil on and my treo goes into a low power mode) and the music player starts. it also starts (even in low power) when actice sync emails are recevied. weird, huh? Here's what Plantronics says: "I would imagine that your phone is operating differently when the headset is connected to the phone due to a setting within the Bluetooth menu....It is entirely possible that your phone has a default setting that will not let you put it into the "low power state" while the Bluetooth radio is on. " I have checekd the various menus for bluetooth, phone, media player, etc. all to no avail. There is alwyas the dreaded hard reset, but I want to avoid that at all costs.
