![]() | iGo Stowaway Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard Help! I just bought a new bluetooth keyboard. First, I couldn't download the driver. Then, the site said it wasn't compatible with my Treo 700p. Then, I loaded the program from the included CD, followed the instructions, and it worked for a short while. Now it doesn't, and I can't get it to connect again. My life is keyboard problems. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Mr. Bruce, welcome, did you make certain the bluetooth on the treo was turned ON, and discoverable? I found that sometimes at first, it took two or three trys to get the sync right. After that, no problem. It will turn itself off after a certain period of inactivity. Just pressing any key on the keyboard a few times, (sometimes 4 or 5 times) will re-activate it. Once set up, to reconnect, just hold down ctl, blue fn key and the green fn key, and the little green connection button will light up, and is good to go. BTW, make sure when you enter the numbers to use the blue fn key, and remember to hit return. Sometimes I forget to hit return, and the connection fails. The numbers are just bogus and don't really matter, so you can just hit number 1 and be done with it. Hope this helps. Keep at it, I really love mine. A couple of other tips may be useful: I cut two little 2x2 squares of dense rubber foam like the kind used to separate china dishes, and I keep them in the case with the KB. I put one on each side where the KB sliders extend from the main body of the device when opened. They help the KB to lay perfectly flat on a surface, and absorb a little typing shock. I put the screen on the landscape mode, so the treo is sideways and never topples over. Wanna ask me how I found out this little tip? Please don't. There you go. Sorry this is a disorganized post, but it's late. ![]() |
