Need to Edit Partnership / Select Services Multiple Times to get them to stick

My bluetooth headset and bluetooth car receiver seem to work fine while playing. However if I turn off the audio (stop mortplayer), for example while listening with my bt620s headphones, and walk away for 30 minutes, then come back to the treo 700wx, I can't easily get the audio playing again via bt. I need to often edit the bt partnerships, select the headphones and reenable the wireless stereo multiple times before it works. If I go back into the settings, click the device, and hit refresh the checkboxes often show cleared. Anyone have this issue and know what I can do to stop it? Very annoying and time consuming. Not good while driving either.
