Jawbone for mp3 listening? Both Ears?

Dumb question: if I want to use bluetooth headphones to listen to mp3s, do you buy two of these guys?

the Jawbone (proud owner ) does not have the A2DP profile that you will need to listen to stereo sound.

You will need to purchase a set of BT headphones that do.

Although the Jawbone is a good enough BT earpiece to 'own two,' they are not going to work for mp3, Slingplayer, pTunes, Kinoma, etc for listening. Too bad.

I've tried a pair of the Stereo BT headphones and was sorry I spent the money ... the wired earbud with microphone is the only solution I've found acceptable for listening and still answering phone calls. YMMV.

Currently, I usually end up listening to pTunes with one wired ear bud in my ear and the other hanging loose since I need to hear what's going on around me as well. So if I can put up with that, will I be able to get the same result with Jawbone and pTunes or are you saying I'll hear no music at all?

And if the answer is that Jawbone won't work at all (I'll hear no music) is there either software or a different BT headset that will work for me?

Thanks.
