![]() ![]() ![]() | Hello MOTO! So, They are closing all of Comp USA's in the Phoenix Metro area. The only exception to this is the Scottsdale store. So I go in and I see the Motorola HF820 speaker phone. The original price is 79.99. Now, if you don't know what I am talking about, it is a speaker phone that looks like an overgrown junebug. I see that the speaker phone is going for 70% off! So, naturally, I buy one. Now, I didn't remember or knew for that matter if the 700P supported it. However, the box said, "all bluetooth devices, including.............." So, I purchased it for 23.99, not bad, not bad at all! I plug it in, no blue light. Now I am having a cow because they have a "all sales are final" thing. Well, I left it plugged in and 2hours later I have light and a fully charged speaker phone. Now, I turn on the bluetooth on my 700P. Next, I turn on the Motorola HF820. Next, I go to find and pair. To my amazement, the HF820 paired much quicker than my palm wirelss headset! Okay, I call the wife as I am driving. Now, I have a Honda Civic. The Civics are not the quietest cars when it comes to air flow. So, I go through a normal conversation. After about 10 minutes, I ask how the quality of the call is. She say, "fine". No cracking, no fading and I didn't loose the connection. Now, I turn off the speaker. I wait about 1 minute and turn it back on. BAM! My 700P recognizes it. I make another call and the quality is good. (At this time the speaker is sitting on the front seat of my car.) Okay, I turn off the bluetooth and turn it back on. BAM! Picks up the speaker right away. I turn off both the speaker and phone's bluetooth, I turn them both back on. BAM! Great connection. No issues. Now, the speaker has a clip you can put on the visor. So that is where it sits and will sit until.............. I have had the speaker for 1 week now. The above has been done about 25 times. Like I have said before, I love to test out my 700P. So far the speaker connects without flaw with my phone. The sound quality is great, and the volume is surprisingly loud! So far so good! Oh yeah, I recommend getting to a Comp Usa quick. I also bought my VOIP phone for 29.99, regular price on that was 99.99. |
