Sprint Treo 700p as a BT Internet Connection

Has anyone tried to use their Treo 700p as a dial-up network (DUN) connection (via bluetooth) to allow their laptop to connect to the internet?

I have a 700P with Sprint's unlimited data Vision service that I have paired to my Dell Laptop via a USB Bluetooth adapter. I have heard that you can "tether" the two together so the Treo acts as a wireless modem providing internet access to the PC.

I almost have the DUN working, but the PC needs a dial up number, username and password. None of which I seem to have.

I have found numerous articles about the Treo 650 (most of which refer to Macs) but nothing on the 700p.

Thanks in advance.

Using DUN on a 700p costs extra money. Sprint wants an extra $40 a month for using the PAM (Phone As Modem) feature. There is a hack for it, but remember that your cheating the system. Get caught, and you could be facing a big bill. Here are some directions on setting it up.

PDAnet works well too ... but suspect the $40 should be paid even if you're connecting once in a blue moon when you can't find a wifi connection.
