![]() | Hey guys great site...I have a problem with the connection between my 650 and my bluetooth 645 from plantronics....sometimes it is a clear as a bell and others it sounds like I am crumbling paper while talking...also have noticed that when the phone is set down on my desk on the same side as the earphone alot less static...but hook in on my belt on the same side and it goes crazy with static...and I am not that big guys...is there anything that can be done about this...have tried hard and soft reset...delete the device and it does but after you do that pull up all known devices and it still shows it being in the phone...so am at wits end as what to do...have only had this device 1 week...also have a motorola slvr that I gave to my son...and the damn thing works perfect...so sure would be appreciative of any feedback that you can give me...thanks and have blessed one.... ![]() ![]() | Welcome stdppy, Search the forum for BT problems. The Treo seems to be quite picky with it's BT headset support. Until I got my H700 or my JX10 I was having no end of problems even resorting to the somewhat moronic practive of holding the phone 'near' my ear. IF you want to stick with the plantronics there's a few things you can do to minimise your interference: 1. Hold the phone on the same side as the BT headset 2. Don't let the phone get too far away - some user shave reported good clear signal until they went to the edge of reception after which it stayed bad throughout. 3. Know when to give up. If the call starts out bad (crackle and hiss etc.) tell them you'll call back then call back. I know, I know as a previous modern handset user for whom all BT headsets worked no problem this is rediculous but the Treo does work well with many headsets. You can also search the blog for Andrews headset reviews. He's selective and quality sensitive which only works in your favour. BTW you can pick up the H700 pretty cheaply now ($48 in some places)..search online or the store. ~ Steph
