Transfer contact list Treo Pro to 2009 Prius - Treo Forum

I have no problem in pairing my Pro with my new 2009 Prius. However, I can find no way to transfer my contact list other than one at a time. Even then I find that it is necessary to first highlight a contact, then click to transfer, then wait for the Pro to recognize it is paired to the Prius. This takes about 10 seconds minimum. For my more than 500 entries, it just ain't going to work.

Has anyone been able to successfully complete a bulk transfer? If so, please, please, please share it with me and the rest of us.

My wife just bought a Ford Escape Hybrid. The sales lady used my phone to demonstrate how to pair my Pro to the Ford. Paired the very first try. Once the two paired a screen popped up and ask if I wanted to transfer my contacts list. Clicked on OK and within less than a minute and a half, my entire list of contacts had transferred successfully. I know that MicroSoft made both Windows Mobile and SYNC which Ford uses, so I would expect the connection to be easier to accomplish, but after my problems with Prius, I was really surprised at the difference.

Does the Prius use SYNC as well?

Nope. SYNC is a joint project between Ford and Microsoft.
