Treo 700p Performance Issues

We recently rolled out 25 700p's in my corporation with Verizon as our service provider. We are using the Intellisync enterprise software for Exchange synchronization.

We are experiencing some consistent locks ups and freezing issues. And, a few cases where the phone got in a loop of continuously rebooting.

Hard resets took care of the rebooting, but I am concerned it will happen more. My typical end user cannot perform a hard reset, then reprogram the server IP to re-sync all their data.

The lock ups and freezes are a significant frustration for our users. The phone is slow to move between apps. When it does pause, they will hit a button or the screen a couple times thinking it did not take their command, and that seems to exacerbate the problem.

We are transitioning from Blackberries where lock-ups, freezes, and slowness were never a problem.

Verizon's response is that no one else is reporting these types of issues. So, I am curious if anyone else has the same experience thus far. Perhaps it is the enterprise sync software? Perhaps it is the OS platform? We have not installed any custom apps, so I do not believe that would be a culprit.

I'll appreciate any exchange of thoughts and ideas.
