The same thing happens with the GSM I believe. On an incoming text message, my SPB MS gives me a 1 unread text message count on its professional home screen. I click on it and go into the SMS application and I see the new message in Bold. If I then exit the SMS app, the SPB MS indicator goes back to 0 unread, but the screen saver will show an unread text message until you actually click on the message and open it.

I assume this is the behavior being discussed?

**Update** After having installed it on my unlocked GSM Treo Pro her eis what I find.

FIrst and foremost...completely clear all of your SMS's before installing!!!! They will start coming into the Palm SMS app as new at a prodigious pace once installed...lol.

Overall...Works great. Here are the small issues/bugs I encounter with my setup.

I am running SPB MS 3.01. On thier Home professional Screen you have 4 icons. One for mail, Texts, voice mails and volume(profile). As they come in you get a number indicator and the icons become full of color versus opaque.

When they are at zero, if you click the SMS icon, you get into the Palm SMS App just as you would with the default Treo Pro SMS app.

HOWEVER..once a text arrives, the numnber indicator briefly goes to 1, but then goes back to Zero...and when you click on the SMS Icon, you do not go into the program. The WM Wheel spins for asecond then nothing happens.

If you go to your Today Screen, you can click on the Today plugin for SMS installed by the Palm SMS and get to the Palm SMS app and read your text.

I will try to uninstall SPB MS 3.01 and then reinstall and see if theprogram hooks up completely with the Palm SMS app an resolves this..will update later on that.

With the old Treo SMS, it was integrated fully into the messaging platform. Thus if I went into email and was in my outlook, if I pressed right on the D pad, it would then toggle to my gmail, then m Yahoo, then my SMS.

The Palm SMS is now removed from this toggle/sequence..no biggie..but thats what happens.

If I find anything else I will post more.
