You may have a corrupted database in your calendar. Try going into your Hotsync into Applications and then Configure. Set the calendar / datebook to do "nothing." Then Hotsync again and see if it goes through all the way. If it does, then go back into Hotsync and set Calendar / datebook to "synchronize the files." Then run Hotsync again. If it stops on Datebook again, download a trial copy of DBFixIt and run it on the PIM data and see if you get any errors. If it shows errors, you will have to buy the software to get the activation code in order to repair the corruption. Best wishes.
