| Did a full hard reset after an active sync and sprite backup, after h reset, restored all contacts, notes, calendar etc with A/S, ringer, alarm etc all working fine. Then did full sprite backup restore (personal folders, system settings, connection manager, program files etc) and the phone ringer etc ceased to work again.
Did another full hard reset, active sync and sprite backup restore but this time only restored personal data (pics etc) and .cab files I've downloaded (Opera and Kevtris) then manually input all my old settings (connection manager today screen personalisation etc), installed program files (opera & kevtris) from .cab files rather than via sprite restore and did not restore old system settings and phone now works fine again. I've done a full sprite backup in the fully working state incase I get the same problem in the future. Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem. |
