Centro vs. Treo 755p: The Bottom Line My wife and I both have a Treo 700p, but its time to upgrade, not just us but possibly 17-year-old son who has a generic cell phone but uses it heavily for calendar etc (so I think he really could use a Palm phone).
The specs for the Treo 755p and the Centro look very similar. Sure, the Centro is a bit thinnner and has somehwhat less battery capacity. And the Centro looks a bit snazzier (so may be more acceptable to my teenager).
But they seem to me to be very similar. What really are the bottom-line differences between these PDA phones? Not minutia, but capabilities or features or constraints etc. that really matter.
My assumption is that since (I think) the Centro is newer, its probably a better bet unless there is a compelling reason to go with the 755p. They are now both priced the same on Verizon, my carrier.
Thanks in advance for any info here. |
