| I do not own the Centro (really don't like the "youthful" look and feel they went for with it). It just felt too light and didn't look very business-like. I have small hands/fingers and the smaller keyboard wasn't my cup of tea.
I was a 650 user for many years before moving to the 755p upon its release in May 07. Google maps/GPS is not a necessity for me, so I can't speak to that, but I can tell you I've had no (zero, zip, nada) problems with the 755. It's been a very stable device and has the feel of a real phone, to me - not light and "plastic-y". I've even gone from the 755 on Sprint to a different 755 (w/ Alltel) when my company changed carriers and both phones have been excellent w/ no issues.
