I have used them all or just about. VM, WS, Chatter, Snapper and agendusmail. But I will focus on the two in question.

VM is strictly a stand alone email app. You can set multiple accounts. It sucks for attachments, but any device this small really doesn't do any attachment justice, so not that big. Also, not the best for HTML email either (really like Chatter for this, but also costs $39.00). VM is free. Its on the disk that came in the box. Basically, VM is you basic email app and is just fine for checking your emails and responding while on the go and it doesn't cost anything either. You can wait till you get to your desktop or whatever to view attachments and what not. Dont get me wrong, it does handle attachments, but I feel other apps do a better job.

WS is designed to be used in conjunction with outlook on your desktop. You download a PC monitor and it syncs your email between your treo and desktop. When you delete and email on your device it, it deletes it on your desktop and vice versa. Now thats something I really like about WS, but the bad part is you have to leave outlook open and the desktop computer on all the time. That might not be a problem for some, but lets say your away for a couple days and your power goes off, or the computer just turns off for whatever reason, you now have no email. Now you can actually set the server info into WS so that it can pull from the server as well as sync with outlook, but the problem I had there was getting double emails sometimes. Very annoying. WS also syncs yours contacts, todos, and appts as well. But again, email seemed to push right away, but when i made caleder or todo changes, it didn't seem to sync as quick.

I hope I have helped a bit. Im tired and probaly jumping around. The other 3 email apps I mentioned are worth a try, but also cost extra. Soemthing agendus had was the ability to make an email an appt or todo, however, it seemed too buggy for me. Chatter was the best in my opinion, but chatter is now owned by Palm and they don't seem to be supporting it as well and Im sure no further advances or updates will be made. Snapper is cool, but can remember what it was exactly I wasn't crazy about.

Versmail can select all or individual so you can make multiple deletions. can t remeber on WS. Talk to you later.
