Yes. The .m4v extension just means that it's an MPEG-4 file, and Kinoma Player supports MPEG-4.

However, Kinoma Player currently supports only the MPEG-4 Video video codec. Most iPod content video is AVC, and much of it is encoded at datarates that require the iPod's dedicated video decoding hardware to play.

That said, I use these files all the time. I just run them through Kinoma Producer on the way to my Treo. You can also use Nero Recode or whatever other MPEG-4 encoder you prefer.
