| I was very frustrated when I first switched to my first smartphone as I had become very used to this critical feature (and still no not understand why Palm hasn't updated its software to include it). What I found, after experimenting with various suggestions, was that if I enter *noti# before my text message, I will get a delivery receipt. I have now entered this into my my quick text, so whenever I send a text message that I need to have a delivery receipt for, I use this *noti#
Important note: if you enter it after the text of your message, it doesn't work, it has to be in the beginning of the message. Same for forwarded messages- it only works if it's in the beginning of the text message.
