I recently bought the 680, bypassing Blackberry, because I had Palm Visor calendar on the computer and did not want to have to buy 3rd party calendar software and reenter a year of future appointments. I use it in my small business.

For the first several weeks the handset would sinc with the computer via cable but lately it refuses. A popup appears on the handset after several minutes saying the connection cannot be established, and no log entry is recorded.

I have switched usb ports but no improvement. I understand the Outlook calendar works well with this device but again, I want to avoid having to reenter all that information, and Outlook seems to eat up too much power.

Any ideas will be appreciated.
