Up to this point I have been pleased with my Treo 700p after the MR update, but today I had a frightening crash. After hanging up from a phone call and attempting to 'add contact' to my list, the phone crashed and began a reset.
Hmm ... I've had resets before but never like this. I was driving so watched the screen "Access, Palm desktop to Sprint initialization" and then it restarted again ... and again and again. This endless loop went on for an hour as I tried every key, resets, battery removals, etc. Nearly ready to give up I tried to interrupt the phone initialization and risked a sync.
(should have overwritten the data from the computer backup, but really didn't expect anything to happen and instead just did a standard 'sync') Thankfully I was able to punch the button before Sprint initialization started and it superseded the cell phone start. Guess what ... it worked and
almost all is as it should be. Here's a photo of the corrupted data that sits at the top of my 'Contacts' list. Both of the items below were categorized so perhaps something is missing from my 'Contacts' list? (ie. not 'unfiled')
