I'm using VersaMail on a Palm Treo 700p with my Yahoo Mail Plus account. When initially setup in August 2006 the e-mail and message deletion functionality was working perfectly. I could delete messages on the Treo, and then "Empty Trash" and it would also delete the messages from the Yahoo server. About two weeks ago the delete/empty trash functionality stopped working. When I deleted a message on the Treo and then "Empty Trash" it would all appear to work until the next "Get" to retrieve messages from Yahoo. At that time the Treo would re-download all the "deleted" messages from Yahoo and mark them as unread. The only way to truly delete messages now is online via the web on my Yahoo account.

Any idea what is going on here? Anyone else having such problems?
