Vodafone and non existant voicemails - Treo Forum

I have a Treo 750 unlocked and working on the vodafone here in the UK. Occasionally I get an alert telling me there is a voicemail, which I hear and then delete. But the treo still thinks its there, and keeps reminding me to listen to it.

I go to dismiss the message, but it is still there. The only way to sort it, is to ensure my data is backed up, and do a hard reset, this has happened 3 times now since owning the device, is there something wrong??

TazUK, I only had the sim card since May of this year, as it was a new contract, so got a new sim card. Puzzling, not sure what to do

Taz my treo is the 750 unlocked treo and not the 750v

forgot, I have to back up my treo and do a hard reset and restore from my backup. Painful process

jfa, I dont own another sim card, so cant test that one out.

That could be why

I noticed over on the XDA Developers forum that there is an update for the Vodafone 750's, as yours is unlocked it probably won't install

I installed it on mine over the weekend but haven't noticed any differences so far. It completely wipes your Treo so if you do try it make sure you have everything backed up

What information does is show you under Settings, System, About, Phone?

Can you pass on details of the vodafone download page, as for some reason cant find it on the UK site.

Your phone information is different from mine in terms of firmware and buildnumbers. Do you have a friend or colleague with a 3g sim card from vodaphone you put in to see if the different card cures the problem?
