Unlocked Cingular phone: how do I use internet with Suncom?

I bought an Unlocked phone on Ebay that was formerly for use with Cingular. It works perfectly as a phone and for text messaging, but so far nobody knows how to make it compatible with Suncom's internet service. Can anybody help me to configure this to work?

Thanks.

If you do a search for Suncom you should be able to find the instructions. I'm pretty sure we just talked about this last week.

I figured it out

I stumbled upon this website looking for the same information. While I didn't find it here, I found bits and pieces on other websites and got mine working. Here's the details:

1) Go to Preferences - Network
2) Type in "I-Net" for the Service (no quotes)
3) Connection type is GPRS
4) User Name is blank (should say "Tap to enter name")
5) Password is blank (should say "-Unassigned-")
6) Type in "mobileinternet" for APN (no quotes)

Hit Connect and you should be in business.

Now I need to call Suncom and see how I can get that $5 data plan for RAZRs on my treo..... <evil laugh>

welcome timnc to treonauts glad you figured it out and thanks foir the post. poiuson snake Is your phone unlocked? or locked to suncom? If suncom allows MMS you should be able to get the setings for setup from suncom and you may need a data plan.
