VZW vs Sprint - Who is really better?

I am currently VZW but considering the move to Sprint for the better phones and much less $$ for voice & data. I am looking for someone that has recently (in past 6 months) moved from VZW to Sprint or vice versa and is willing to share the pros & cons.

I am currently using the 650 and have been "patiently" awaiting the 755p from VZW but now that Sprint has both the Centro & the 755p to pick from I am thinking about the switch.

I travel a lot in the US and do not have too many complaints about service on VZW but I REALLY need a new Treo (not interested in Windows I love the Palm OS.)

My understanding is that Sprint was not as good but has gotten a lot better -any thoughts are appreciated.

I had Verizon for 6 years or so. I switched for these reasons and they apply to my area of coverage:

1. Verizon did not cover 85321 zip. (Check it, I think they do now, but don't offer voice and data Like Sprint does.)

2. Sprint has a variety of phones I like, while Verizon has a better selection of keyboard (non Treo) phones.

3. The data plans for a Treo are about $20 cheaper with Sprint than with Verizon. That alone for me is a plus.

4. I get Data n Voice on roaming networks. I don't get charged roaming, anywhere in the U.S. under Sprints plan. For ex. I work in an Alltel provided area. With Sprint, I get voice and data, at not extra charge. In Sells, AZ I even get the High Speed EVDO on my Treo. My Verizon co-workers, don't.
