680 going to Mexico&Canada- not Verizon - Treo Forum

this is getting comical....treo 680 is going to canada & mexico before it comes to verizon...this is crazy....i've waited long enough...i'm about to bolt to cingular...they're getting all the good stuff

The 680 is GSM, Verizon run a CDMA network so unless Palm come up with a CDMA version of the 680 then there's zero chance of it appearing

On a positive note the 755P is due in a few months and that's a CDMA phone

you're right the 755p is coming, but not to Verizon...it's coming to Sprint 1st,,,then probably another 6 months for Verizon to pick it up
