Unhappy I am SO p.o.'ed!

I've waited since the Treo came out to get one and I've finally figured that the models were not going to get any better for Sprint and I go buy a 700p yesterday only to discover today on this site that a 755p is coming to sprint in a month.

That so makes me mad!

And after waiting all this time, the treo is not that great anyway.

I really expected the calendaring to be better. Also, what happened to the scroll button on the right side? And why can't I just jot notes down with my stylus like my friends do on their phones/pdas?

I am really diassapointed....

Don't really know. Actually the more I read about the 755p, I'm not so sure it's all that better, so I'll stick to my 700p and try to get the hang of it.

There are hacks available to enable Grafitti on the Treo, such as this one, which will allow you to do that

What's a hack? Do I have to get the software and then download the hack to get it to work? Or is it the whole thing you need in one package?

Scroll button... maybe I'm mixing my PDAs... It stuck in my head that TREO was the one that had that, but maybe I'm wrong about that.

What's a hack? and WTF?

So, no one ever answered my question. What's a hack?

Now on to p---ing and moaning about Sprint.

I went with Sprint because that's what my new spouse has and it is just 9.99 a month to add a line. Well we just got the bill and they decided they would bill us as an entirely new line, huh? WTF?

Will call them tonight and see what they have to say about that. But $200 some odd dollars, vs. 9.99 was quite a shock!

A hack is changing something either hardware or software that results in something that the device wasn't originally intended to do. In this case it's software that adds grafitti capabilities to the treo.

I was definitely shocked when I got my new bill after my wife and I got our new phones last month. Stupid Cingular... er AT&T offering cheaper devices for trying out additional services.

But how does it work?

Anyone here use this hack?

Does anyone know how to "download" such a hack?

There's a zip file. Do I use my phone to download the zip or what? Do I use my computer and then open the zip and then transfer something to my phone with a sync later?

Sorry, newbie here!

Looks like you download on your PC and then sync it over.

Not that I'm aware of, but some of the other T'nauts might know.
