Let's talk about charges and compare ATT and Sprint. How much is the data plan? With Sprint $15 and last time I checked, it was 39.99 with ATT. Nah, I'll use my 24 bucks for a case of Non Bud products.

Everyone has their choice of provider. Whether you like or dislike they all have something to offer. Sprint clearly has what I need and many have left ATT in my area cause of coverage. My two cents.

Couldn't agree more! I am also with Sprint and I'm very happy with them. I'm glad they are cracking down..they are a business that needs to keep their stockholders happy, and the only way to do that is to make money. The customers that constantly demand discounts, perks and freebies and who call retentions with threats cost Sprint money and frankly I am sure they won't be sad if they leave.

Here in NYC ATT sucks..lots of dead spots, and their data network is horrible. You really can't get a plan with unlimited data, nights and weekends, etc at the price Sprint offers anyhere else.

My wife has the everything plan (Sprint).
I have unlimited data and phone (same thing, but with T-Mobile).
Both are $99.00/Mo.

I like it. We did a side-by-side speed test, and her page loads were almost imperceptibly faster. I had to look closely to see the difference.

Technically speaking T-Mobile's network is slower than Sprint's, but as you say Pete, it may not be as noticable. What phone does your wife have?

Remember when all the Unlimited Plans came out? Sprint was the only one to have a "true" unlimited plan. With Verizon and ATT they had the unlimted talk but if you wanted unlimted txt and data, it was 149 or something like that.

Have ATT and Verizon changed since then?

Can't notice what wasn't there.
Actually, I was astonished. And we tried it at several locations at different times of day; until she began to lose patience with me.
In reality, there was probably a quarter-second difference on loading Yahoo!'s home page, after we'd cleared our caches and cookies, and set Blazer preferences to be the same.

I think that like me, a lot of people can get stuck with experiences that are maybe a year (or more) old. Some (like me) can get engulfed (if they're not careful) in other folks' reviews, or articles by "experts" on how things "are" with respect to devices, networks, apps, batts, etc......etc.......etc.

At the end of the day, more has to do with how one customizes their solutions than some might think, and it definitely pays to re-examine old dogmas; particularly where rapidly-moving technologies are concerned.
