I agree COMPLETELY! The sad thing is I had numerous miniUSB chargers, cables, etc. that I sold last week on eBay because I figured I wouldn't need them. They were left over from when I strayed to that bloomin' Cingular 8525 (and a Sanyo PDA before that).

Although, I am sure Athena connectivity will live on in other devices...at least for awhile.

I can't see Palm releasing another PDA, it's Smartphones only from now on.

The Centro uses the Athena connector so maybe they'll keep it on the lower end models.

WM6 on the 750 is rock solid zonman. No reason to think this won't be just as stable.

WM6 is BY FAR the most stable Windows Mobile OS I have experienced, and I have just about used (or supported) them all.
