![]() | Kinoma Play music I bit the bullet and purchased the full Kinoma Player. It works very well. Just have a question about loading files (music, video etc...). I have the player set to scan manually. When I installed it last night I did a manual scan and it loaded ALL my files, video, movies, music, photos and took about 15 minutes. I figured OK, that was the first scan and everything would be in my library. I turned on the device this morning and went to music screen and it said no files so I scanned again. I stopped scan after about 3 minutes and had some music back in my library. My question is: do I have to scan every time I open Kinoma Player?? I have not figured out how to keep files in the Kinoma library. The manual is very basic and really doesn't help. I know in Windows Media Player, I can update library and the files are always in there. ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That is a good questions. I have mine to scan manually and my files are all there. I only rescan when I load new music or download a podcast. Go to the kinoma website and see if the forum has an answer. Usually, Charles from kinoma will stop here once in a while so he may pop up soon as well.

Don't know what I did right or wrong but I did it ![]() All is working well and Jimi, Janis, and The Who are screaming loudly in my brain again. Maybe I got Dain Bramage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
