Treo Cycling Issue - Treo Forum

The first issue I have had with the Pro. It was turning off and on several times a day, cycling, I believe they call it. Finally went into the Sprint corporate store in the area, and they have to order a new one for me. This is a disappointment for me. I had a 800w before, and that was constantly in the shop getting fixed or replaced, sure hope this is not a repeat performance?!!!

SHouldn't be...Ive had miine for 6 months and it is rock solid and performs great (unlocked GSM on AT&T). Always a bad appl eor two I guess...but I wouldnt worry about it being a phone wide issue.

I've had my 800w for 8 months now and I have had no issues. Actually I had to take it in to Sprint for a Hard Reset that I couldn't perform. The issue was caused by me and my 3rd party software. I installed software that I shouldn't have and it ruined my day. Luckily Sprint fixed it and i am fine now.

Check your 3rd party software and make sure you only install apps that you know work with your device.
