Biggest complaint about the 800 besides the horrible battery life?

I hate the fact that even after u x off of a program/application, it continues to run. Why is that? And what's with the active sync always running even when not in use? Having to go and manually shut down each application is starting to be a pain in the ass.

welcome to treonauts deevel79. I thought that the x was supposed to work like the desktop and truly shut programs down. Hmm thats not the way they said it would be. All those programs not shutting down after the x cant be helping your battery life either.

It's normal behaviour for Windows Mobile and doesn't really make a big difference. I used to shut down stuff as soon as I was finished with it but now I let WM manage the memory, which it seems to do well most of the time. Very occasionally I have to manually shut all the running apps down.

I am not familiar with Window Mobile but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Nah, just kidding, I played with my Sister in Law's 800w. If my memory serves me correct, you can hold the ok key and it'll take you to running programs. You can then close it out from there. PITA but it really speeds the device up.

I couldn't believe how fast the 800w is. It does bog down when you start to open up many applications but a quick clean up of the running programs will speed it back up.

Exactly. Just FYI there are apps out there that change this behavior. I can't think of one right now though, just exhausted.

Kinda, we were at the in laws on Wednesday night, over night because I had an early morning dr. appt in Milwaukee, and didn't feel like driving 1.5 hours on Thursday morning. In laws have a LOUD cat who insisted on meowing the whole night. I slept approx. 20 minutes.
