![]() | Once you get everything "up and running" smoothly, you'll be relieved. I also use NVbackup. Before I install ANY new apps, or updates, I use NVBackup. That way, if I decide I don't want/need that app/update, I just do a restore. Every night, I do a backup using NVbackup. Even if I just make a few changes with settings (or whatever), I will create a new backup. Sure, I could always select "Update" instead of Create a new backup, but I prefer creating a new backup. Also, every other day or so, I use Resco Backup as well. Then, about once a week, I transfer ALL my backups to my computer, via a card reader. I have ALOT of backups on my computer since I got my Treo in Feb. this year. I suppose I could delete some of them, but haven't gotten around to it just yet. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Actually, when you make a backup, it is put on the SDCard. When you perform a hard reset, NVBackup icon will be there. Just click it and restore. NVBackup does this for you. No need in putting a double app there. Let NVBackup put itself on the card for you on the first backup. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hmmm, I never thought about that? I just remember mine being put on the SD card. But, the backup should be put on the SD card on the Treo itself. OH, yeah, that's what you meant!!??? Duh me. Yes, make sure that the backup is put on the card not the Treo itself. Don, sorry about the confusion on my part. lol |

![]() | Hello. Was busy all week. Just popped in tonite to say, yes everything above is as it says. The NV Backup app and every backup automatically kicks into the SD card. I followed Treo M's, Comiken's and Delpita's comments and I've used it a couple times already. Very very good. In fact tonight I want to go back 2 restores to delete some new apps I added and just didn't like them (no glitches but just didn't like them). Without NV Backup don't think I would feel so comfortable after my episode at the beginning of these links. NV Backup - Excellent backup system for us worriers and for those who just know to add this app on right from the beginning. Shirley (755p) |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Glad everything works. However, you can delete those apps and see what happens. If all is good you won't have to go to NVBackup. Remember, if there is a contact or other changes you have made, you will lose those if you revert two backups ago. |
